The Iris I purchased from the Iris Society sale are outside the lower bedroom window.

I’m cheating a tiny bit as I am in Florida for a few days visiting my in-laws. This is the view yesterday from the living room. (The bedroom overlooks a golf course and isn’t nearly as pretty.)

Haha, my lovely fellow tenant who lives in the basement has called the city on me numerous times complaining that I take the garbage/recycling out too early and it's messy for the neighbours to look at. I do it the day before (as do many other neighbours) because I don't want to get up and do it in the morning. She doesn't lift a finger, to take anything out or bring in the empties, that it's the landlord's job. (it isn't, they don't live here). She's a constant complainer of everything, and I refer to her as Gladys whenever I mention her. I often forget her real name :-)

ETA: just to clarify, she told me she called the city, the city didn't call me to stop doing that etc. They have more important things to do than follow up on nuisance calls like this,

This is the view from our lakehouse bedroom. The lake is just beyond the deck.

Guest room view taken last week. The lowest blue area is the Gulf. The county bought that lot (which really wasn't buildable due to dune lake outfall, which changes each time) so will never be blocked.

This big guy showed up with his girls and offspring today. At one point we counted 10. Looking out our bedroom window into the back/side of our property.

jasdip, your Gladys would be apoplectic if she lived on my street. We start putting out our 3 bins 24 hours before pickup.

Everyone’s views are so beautiful! May I present the moonscape that is my side yard. There was an enormous dying elm at the edge of the stone patio. Inhad it taken down and a lot of other tree work done as they were breaking ground on the house next door early last year. The pile of beautiful free dirt is compliments of my new neighbor. The good news is that the landscape designer is coming Wednesday morning.
