No rug. Already odd angles......the rug will fight them.

If you do add one, round would be the only shape that would fit and it looks like the chairs might glide off it when pulled out.

I also want to say - I love your space. I have been collecting wildlife art and natural art (drift wood, petrified wood, wasp nests . . . ) for 50 years and this makes me feel like an African Safari.

Can you take a picture from further back? I agree on no rug, but wondering if you have any lighting and how both walls are accessorized. Accessories can add the interest vs a rug.
