What a marvelous view! Ever watch the series, "Bosch"? Reminds me of the main character's home. I like both of Celery's table sets and like the wood top better than white. I think I would like something like what Bosch had, a wood table and simple black leather chairs. The wood color was darker though, and the backs were leather too, not wood. Looked really classy.

Can I ask why the sofa it turned away from the gorgeous view? Why it isn't turned clockwise 45 degrees? I'm sure you have a reason.

@KL we have a 70+ inch TV on a media stand in a recess in the wall. We do not want the Tv to block the views and my husband and I enjoy the TV everyday!

Thank you for explaining there is a tv out of view. I wondered about that. My hubby and I also watch TV together for about an hour each night, so I get it. :-) So what are you thinking for a table and chairs? What do you like? Don't like?

We wanted something that won’t take up too much space and won’t take away from the view neither. Not sure if glass tabletop would look good at all in this space because we do not have anything glass.

@Anna D if you live be glass, get it anyway; you have big glass windows if you are worried about not having other glass things. My hubby and I eat most meals at a bistro table and two fake wicker chairs. All three are a dark almost black. It has a glass top. But if company comes, we have to go to the dining room or outside. If it's just you two, go bistro.  Otherwise try a table for four. Several follow...

I would suggest a narrow table against the windows without chairs on the window side. It doesn't look like there is enough space to have a standard width table with chairs on all sides.

Yeah that is a really small space for a table with chairs on both sides IMO.

@Elle that's perfect but I can't find who is selling it. Can you? So @Anna D I agree with Elle that your best bet is a long narrow expandable table that you place against the wall. Seat people along the side and when crowder, at each end and expand the table too. Google "long/narrow/expandable dining table" to get these options, often on Wayfair.

A long narrow table will also serve as a great buffet table. For chairs, I liked Elle's light wire ones, did you? I tried googling for transparent chairs and got what some call ghost chairs of clear hard plastic. Some are stackable! That may help you. But then I googled "wire/chair" and got something I really love given the view of the cable suspension bridge. And I like the slim cushioned sheets. What do you think?

I’d consider a table that fits behind your sofa. Search ’dining table behind sofa’ for lots of ideas.

I agree with jinx. Also search for "drop leaf dining table" -- with this you can put against the sofa like in jinx's examples and then expand when needed.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!! I am now looking for something that’s not glass that I can put against the couch and preferably drop leaf. Dark wood/black finishes are what we are looking for now. I’ll let you know of any updates to the space!!
