This is called a console sink, and it could be earlier than MCM, it's kind of Deco-Moderne or Streamline Modern. The faucet looks original, the handles might be a partial replacement: I feel like the original knobs would have been more dome shaped like the top of the faucet, but would have been hard to turn(?). Not sure.

We had a very similar one in our upstairs 1943 Cape Cod. The faucets were not like that as I recall, but I bet they were changed before I was born. I love your sink and I’d use it.

Look for Console sinks, as suggested by @palimpsest. I purchased one for a bathroom remodel, and that’s the term I searched on. You’ll find lots of inspirational pictures searching for 50’s bathrooms as well.
