You might research edema. That's where the plant takes up water faster than it can release it. I think that results from excess moisture, but may also be caused by extreme moisture variations. It's not about insects or disease. I believe it isn't going to hurt production.

Thank you Dan and the dirt. You know I had thought maybe the same thing. I've had this edema with other plants. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know what happens. I'll also do a little research on it.
