Why would you do that? You have a small dining area right off the kitchen - in essence, it's an extension of the kitchen. I wouldn't remodel just to have some seats in the kitchen unless there's some other reason you want to remodel. If you're itching to do something, put a fabulous hutch or piece of kitchen-appropriate furniture between the door and the window and call it a day -- that wall is in need of something.

Have you thought of a peninsula? That would accommodate both eat-in kitchen feel and provide additional counterspace for prep.
