HELP!! Need advice on dining table and living room couch layout!!

We just bought a new house, and I am trying to figure out how to configure the couch and dining area in a relatively small space. We'd like to keep our L-shape sectional couch that is approx 111" long and 69" wide. The living room and dining area are combined. I've attached photos from the staging (the room is empty now as we have not moved it yet). How would you orient the L-shaped couch?

Facing the fireplace? Or the windows? Or the wall (for TV?)? I'm also thinking of a 60 inch round dining table. I don't want it to feel crowded but I'm not sure how to make it all fit and feel cohesive but not crowded. The living/dining room area is approximately 22 ft by 30ft. Below are photos of the staged living room/dining room area and the white couch is a stock photo of our current couch.

Kinda hard to use a sectional in a new space because your arrangement options get limited so drastically. That fireplace wall needs some attention. It could really anchor the room with shelving and a TV to the left. I think another pic taken from where the dining table is would be helpful.

If this is the only room for a TV, the you need to decide where the TV will go for the best viewing. The sofa will go opposite that and then you can deal with what is left over.

But if your hear is set on a 60" dining table you will need a 120" diameter space for the table and dining chairs around it.....that being said, place your dining table to accommodate what you want your dining area to be, then place TV and sofa. As you make one decision, may other possible decisions will fall away.

Some examples of dining in a great room.

    1. Floating near sofa and kitchen

    2. Circular dining area, but still floating.

where will you be hanging the TV?

    sectional facing Fireplace and TV

can you flip the chaise to the other side? if so, I'd put side chairs near the windows so you can walk up to them, (the windows) Define the dining space

These are great! I think #1 makes the most sense for our space. There are only 2 options for the tv given the floor to ceiling glass windows, either above the fireplace or on the wall to the right. I think the tv on the fireplace makes the most sense because if the tv is on the right wall, then the couch needs to face that wall and will cut into a lot of the dining room space.

Getting one of the brackets that enable the TV to be lowered and pivoted would help ease layout contraints - great light in that room!

Why not the tv on the wall to the left of the fireplace?

La_la girl I thought about the wall to the left of the fireplace but I don’t know how the viewing angle would work for the tv relative to the couch because the tv would be off to the side? That wall is only 6ft long so we couldn’t put the couch to face the tv because it would block the doors to the deck.
