"Angry Juno" is doing well Paul (breeder) and Carol (coparent)

I planted 27-07-16 10/22/22 here in a root gopher cage. He had one cane amputated from canker but is cheerily coming along.

The blooms are variable. He is still settling in. I hope his namesake cat is also coming along.

The rose was auctioned off to raise money to help a cat of that name pay for medical costs.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. This beauty leans a little more purple than my Diablo Hawk which is also a beautiful rose.

I love wine-colored roses. Love the name, love the color and the size is helpful for smaller gardens.

Sheila, that rose has a glow to it that reminds me of the rich deep berry colored drink I make in the fall from my Roselle (hibiscus sabdariffa). It’s such a delicious color! It looks like it should smell like berries too. I like the shape of the bush too, nothing stiff or awkward about that one. Paul, it’s a winner!

I'm pleased to see yours is still working on a few late blooms, Sheila! I wish I'd propagated and distributed this years ago. I often saw it as a bit of a "close, but no cigar" rose. I was wrong.

My 'Clara Thomson' (Angry Juno) is still small, but growing well now. The disease resistance is superb, and the bloom is lush.

'Jeri Jennings' does really well here in SoCal EXCEPT for this year, when it us one of several roses that has reacted to protracted bad weather by sulking.
