Floor and Decor Large Format Tiles for Bathroom Walls/Floors

Hi! Has anyone installed large format tiles (12x24 or 24x48, or even bigger) from Floor and Decor in their shower/bathroom and willing to share some photos? I am looking for something Spa-like but not too white/grey/veiny because that looks like my kitchen countertop haha. I used Altair Stone in the primary bathroom and its beautiful, but I'm looking for something a little different in the Guest bathroom.

Any floor & decor tile combos (shower walls, shower floor, bathroom floor) that anyone has installed and loved (even if its not large format) that you can share photos of for ideas? thanks!

Floor and Decor has a complimentery interior decorating service. Call for an appointment to be shown tile combos. Many Houzz posters do not like this store so buyer beware.

If possible, I prefer to support local independently owned tile stores. They carry a wide range of tiles for all budgets. I also try to buy USA made tile products, or at least Italian/Spanish made tile.

    Thanks all @Rho Dodendron @chispa @User

My contractor was insisting we went with Floor & Decor (probably because the materials are easily accessible and in stock, not on backorder) and I did go in to ask for their designer's help, but I do not like the selections they carry, and also prefer supporting prefer supporting small business when my budget allows for it.

I've begun looking at some other stores (particularly bedrosians) but unfortunately I have to make a decision very quickly. Thanks for your guidance!

We used a large white porcelain tile from Floor and Decor in our bathroom. It was called Alexei White. It is 24 x 48. It’s been installed for almost a year. We are pleased with it. We used a different tile in the shower.

Be sure your tile setter is extremely versed in large format. not every tile setter is capable. Personally I would find his insistence that you purchase at F&D as a red flag, may just be me though.

We used 48x48 from F&D in our steam shower. Hindsight, I think I would have liked 24x48 better just because we ended up with some awkward seams since they were few and far between (it could have been laid out better as well). But I love how easy the large format is to keep clean!

S H - Your last post was a couple of years ago, so I hope that you will see this. Your bathroom is beautiful. Are your large format tiles from Floor & Decor porcelain tiles? Do you have the name or order info of your F & D tile? And are you happy with the result and the maintenance after living with it for a few years?
