Are crocosmia supposed to be one-and-done?

After some years of trying to get crocosmia Lucifer established, I had a fabulous bloom this past June, with multiple scapes and lots of flowers. Everything faded at about the same time, and I trimmed off the spent scapes. It’s now late July, and it seems like NOTHING is happening in terms of forming new flower growth, but all the websites say that flowering should continue through late summer. Am I going to see any more flowers this year, or did my plant blow it all in one bang? I’m in New Jersey zone 7a—if you’ve grown this successfully, please let me know if this is normal, or if I need to feed or something—thanks.

I have several large, established clumps of 'Lucifer' here in upstate NY and I've never seen or heard of them reblooming after the initial show. I don't even trim the spent flower stalks off these days as I find the seed pods to be pretty ornamental in their own right.

Perhaps in milder regions where they can be evergreen, there's more potential for rebloom?

The longer show would be from a large group of corms which would flower at slightly different intervals. Here that would be from summer to early autumn. If you only have one plant it won't bloom for the whole of that period.
