last modified: 2 years ago

Most of my hosta are declining…..a few are still looking pretty good. The best today is my Coast to Coast. It’s second season here it got huge and loved the sun exposure it got. Here is my happiest late season hosta, lets see yours! Please excuse the plant litter…… Ann, I took this photo today 😳

Summer Music a return from last year and I did not think it would make another year as they arrived so late in July. She loves the greenhouse.

    Have a great day everyone!

We’ve had a mild summer with no extreme heat and a bit of rain for the first time in years so mine didn’t do too bad

Sherry, the Hanky Panky was out front in more shade previously. it never looked good! I decided to move it to the back yard in sun. Not only did it survive the move, it thrived! Lesson learned…..you are welcome to come see it any time! You’re close…… ☺️

Fun to see a few hostas still looking good by mid October. Frances Williams which I usually think of as a diva with it's "NO SUN" preference, caught my eye today and is still looking good.

nicholsworth Z6, It is actually a June reversion (halcyon?). It gets very little sun, maybe 2-3 hours of midday sun. The rest of the day is almost total shade. My real June's are still dark and I don't think they turn ths yellow.

Ahhh..so my June does look like yours..

An updated picture of the Abiqua Drinking Gourds I posted a few weeks ago. A particularly colorful shot, I thought. A couple of Liberties coming out of their sulk from being in the sunshine and Abiquas bright yellow. I’d sure like to find some more of those clear purple heucheras next spring; if I can find some I’ll move those Liberties elsewhere.
