There are other places to shop than Amazon.

Which Delta faucet are you looking at? There are several models with the Touch20 technology. Amazon's current price for the Delta Essa Touch2O faucet in Arctic Stainless finish is $275 (seller is Amazon, not some funky Amazon seller). Please know that $275 is a quite low price for a touch kitchen faucet. I cannot imagine getting decent quality for lower. How much less do you want to spend for a touch kitchen faucet?

She was looking for something in SpotShield Stainless. Right now we are looking either at the Ophelia or the Leland. I have seen the Moen MotionSense Haelyn and Essie as low as $219, sometimes even lower.

When shopping for extraordinarily low prices on Amazon, be careful about the seller. Quite a lot of sellers on Amazon selling seconds and returns, and so can underprice reputable sellers. Then if you have a problem they will ghost you, and Amazon will not take responsibility either because you bought from a seller just using the Amazon platform, but not related to Amazon in any way. Sure, you should see if Amazon is offering a lower price on Prime Day. But I would not hold out to match the Delta faucet price to a $219 Moen price from an unknown seller.

Also keep in mind the inflation rates since 2022.

Most of the online "deals" on either Moen or Delta are last year's models, closeouts, open box, no warranty missing parts, or otherwise compromised materials. As are the rest of the so called online deals. Neither Delta nor Moen really do "sales". They do not need to. Their sales are just fine without it.

Faucets are not impulse buys so no need to try to lure a buyer. Either you need one or you don't.

You can always try Marketplace for a faucet available locally. Not unusual to find new 'I changed my mind' items at a good discount.
