I suggest you purchase a desk for your office needs and outfit the built in with a changing pad. The drawers are perfect for holding tiny clothing and, if you hang a mobile so it reflects in the mirror, baby will be fascinated. During the day, portable bassinet can go in front of the mirror so mobile and mirror do double duty.

@elcieg I'm planning to have him in our own room for around the 6 months then transition him over to the crib. We will have a bassinet in our room that is easy to carry. Here's the room currently with the crib set up. Hubby just put it together today.

The Ikea Hemnes 8 drawer dresser is amazing for new kiddos. Affordable, pretty and spacious! I think the white version would look great with a sky theme!
