Best bet is to go to a cabinet dealer, where they’ll have displays of pulls (handles) from various brands. Viewing in person, and holding the pulls in your hand, is the best way to find a style that most appeals and feels comfortable to hold.

As some have noted…there are thousands to choose from, of differing quality, and cost. And, my idea of traditional might not be yours.
