Design ideas for wine bar/butler pantry in this awkward space?

When we moved in a year ago, the pictured space was a laundry alcove with accordion doors. The house is a raised coastal ranch with an open floorplan, and this space is right beside the dining area.

We moved the w/d to the basement and removed the doors to the space, with the idea to convert it into an attractive usable area.

It's not far from the kitchen, and the cabinetry is the same as in the kitchen, so it's easy to tie them together design-wise.

We are REALLY in need of proper wine storage space (right now it's all in the pantry), and I'm thinking a wine storage/bar combo is going to be the best option.

We had a dedicated bar in our previous house and really miss having the room and proper storage.

We drink a combination of mostly reds and some whites, and so maybe a small wine fridge for the whites and then 16-24 bottle storage for the reds where they can be laid flat. I'd like for the open storage to be below the upper cabinets - either hanging or in some kind of tower(s) between the upper cabinets and counter - so as to not necessitate bending down to look at or retrieve the bottles.

We don't need a large wine fridge as we had a big one and used about 25% of it and might could even go with a countertop one. (Even the small 7-8 bottle ones would be enough.)

I'd like to have some cabinet space below for additional storage.

That's where my ideas end. I have NO idea of how to lay out or design something like that and would love to get some ideas from the helpful people on here. The space is roughly 3' deep and 6.5' wide.

Thanks so much!
