bedding suggestions

New house. Blank slate. Ignoring what is currently on the bed, can anyone recommend color/print schemes to go with the new headboard? Preference is greens, earth tones, some florals mixed in maybe.

I believe that the one who makes the bed and cleans the room, gets to pick the pattern of the bedding 😁

I typically do not recommend any floral patterns on beds if a man sleeps in the bed.

I;ve had florals on my comforters for probably 44 of the 44 years we've been married........... sometimes it's just a plain white quilt, but then the comforter is folded at the foot of the bed. DH likes them and has never suggested that he would prefer something else. He likes them.

(see my posts about my bathroom reno to see that he WILL disagree when he dislikes something).

exactly! My husband has no issues with florals, he has issues with certain colors sometimes, but no rhyme or reason to it as far as i can figure out , lol. My DD on the other hand has always hated florals. So I think it’s a stereotype of “masculine/feminine” to assign prints based on gender. Most people believe in a creator( who is in most cases viewed as masculine/male) who created flowers, right?
