Can you purchase Shiloh cabinets online?

I'm all about finding the least expensive ways to get things done. We're doing kitchen cabinets and want a very light grey stain. So far we've only found Shiloh and Kraftmaid that have grey stains light enough to suit us (need light due to not having many windows and only 8 foot ceilings in kitchen.)

I've succeeded in finding discount online sellers of Kraftmaid in the past to save on traditional dealer markups and sales tax but I can't seem to find anybody online selling Shiloh. We like the Shiloh color a bit more but will go with Kraftmaid to save money if we can't get around paying dealer pricing.

I have to agree that what you are doing is unethical. Those designers have to put food on the table for their families. They are paid by commission. Major semi custom to custom manufacturers do not allow online sales. You have to have a designer familiar with the 27,000 different parts, and the 789 different door and color combinations do the design, and pay them for the design work and the cabinets. Only the cheap import RTA’s with just 40 different skus and 2 different color options are suitable to online sales.

James, I have twice used free designers at the box stores and local design studios, figured out exactly what I wanted in Kraftmaid, and then found a dealer out of state from online searches that quoted me significantly less than the local places, and without sales tax. I had no issues with the cabinets. I really don't care what hoops that company jumped through. I only care that I got my cabinets for the lowest price possible. That company is still in business and quoting me less yet again... but they don't sell Shiloh. So that was simply my area of inquiry.

Many deisgn firms charge upfront for their design fee. Some give you a credit back if you end up buying cabinets with them. The places that sit down with you and do designs free are making their own choice to do so, and the consequence is that some folks will take the design and go someplace else. I look out for my family, our bottom dollar. Not taking advantage of a poor or calculated decision by a company would not be in my best interest.

Can you share the name of the online dealer that you used? Either here or in a private message? I designed my kitchen myself and I thought I was going to purchase from a local building supply store, but I really need all of the savings that I can get. So I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind sharing.
