I like the idea of a mural, and if you decide to go in that direction, choose a color from the mural and repaint the other walls. For me, the wall color is uninspiring. It's too close to the color of the carpet.

I would mount the TV on the wall and consolidate all the office supplies/equipment and desk on one wall. Clear the space. and replace the ceiling light/fan with an integrated fixture.

I’m a bit late here, but adding some ideas in case you or future readers are still tweaking the space. In rooms with no windows, I’ve found that large-scale art or even a faux window mural can make a big difference. Mirrors also help open things up and bounce light around. Do you have a color palette in mind? Sometimes choosing that first makes the wall choices a lot easier.
