missoni for target is my happy ottoman find

last year

It is in my home office beside the pull out sofa. Would like to punch it up with pillows but how can i highlight the ottoman and not clash. Cannot afford missoni throw pillows. There is a hint of pink in the trim of the ottoman. Any ideas of how to start my search? Thank you so much for providing direction. I spend a lot of time in this room.

If you can't see the color from a normal distance, it doesn't count. Use the basic colors in the ottoman, but with bold patterns.

All these pillow covers are from Etsy

I am glad you like the ottoman but it not true Missoni but now choose a color but i do not know what the colors are since the pics look different from eachother I think the pink could be awesome maybe mongolian lamb more that a flat fabric for some texture .

(Photo by Susie Yoo.) The fact that these products were in the "Missoni for Target" line and not the "real" Missoni line — they are admittedly lower in quality and are mass-produced, O'Brien said — wasn't enough to prevent shoppers from getting them, and a lot of them, at any cost.

BTW I often choose the color that is the least amount in art or a print it makes that color pop.

BeverlyFLADeziner - love the first 2 pillows so dramatic. Paul F thanks for photo with the pillow on sofa and ottoman where I use it. Yes, I have been thinking about a rug but have no idea where to go … thought to begin with immediate comfort and pillows. How many do I need for sofa and how to mix and match?

Patricia Colwell Consulting is correct - not a true Missoni but I am the target demographic for Target( forgive the pun). Love their design and making it affordable made it accessible. I was not obliged to pay an inflated price by a 3rd party seller. Yes to pink suggestion- Mongolian lamp- what is that? Thanks for your “ designer eye” for some images.

Patricia colwell consulting - recommended- thanks - Is this the pillow and the perfect color? How many pillows I need? Should each be different? Should I integrate earlier different suggestions? Or keep it simple in a tiny room. Thank you all

I love that furry pillow in the blush. But i think you have a lot going on that doesn’t really work with the furry blush - I.e. the style of your pieces, as well as the colors of the pieces, and the wall and floor colors. I think you could possibly do the same type pillow in this color and imo it would connect better.

Beeboo22 what a great article with such glorious photos. Thank you for the moments of delight looking at the beautiful.
Before I look at rugs - can I blend 2 colors of fluffy pillows? Should I stick to one?
Also - any of the bold patterns to be integrated? Again how to “dress” the 3 seat pull out sofa?
    Appreciate your time and talent

Thanks for suggestions- I found pillows - the 2 are very different and I do not know which is more attractive- the curly or the straight? Any opinions?

Maybe look at getting solid pillows in some of the colors that are in the ottoman itself. Please see a few of our designs below for some pillow ideas:
