Living room help

Hello all. My living room is 17lX13w. i will be keeping art work snd sofa along the wall. would like to replace the sofa by window with 1 or 2 chairs (the same leather and style as sofa. Looking for suggestions on area rug, coffee tables and accessories. Thank you in advance.

    What I am craving when looking at this space is color and/or texture and/or contrast (light and dark). Everything is dark and neutral and a bit drab. I don't know enough about you or your lifestyle to suggest a color, but the space needs some life.
