We are in zone 9 and ours took about two growing seasons to get full and beautiful! Depends on sun, and moisture plus sone fertilizer. The smell from the blossoms on Spring can’t be matched. Heavenly!

I have pictures, but we moved recently and they are in an album yet unpacked. We had them over trellises, and on wood fences. I used devices I attached to the wood fence and used string to help them climb up. I would go out every week or so and help them get wrapped around the string so the climbed up. I will see if I can find pictures. Bbl
