I would use engineered hardwood over the LVP. It should last a long time, look like solid hardwood(top layer is real wood) and can be refinished if need be.

We're adding an addition and the cabinets are order. they're called natural maple. Hard to put the sample in the space they'll be in until we build the addition. Thank you for your suggestions, I do like the middle one. The sample I have of the cabinets is more yellow in some light and pinker in other.

I do not think fake wood next to real is ever a good idea nad natural maple changes color over time so think carefully. I do not think dark floors make spaces feel smaller I had really dark wenge wood floors in a 600sq ft house and never made the spaces feel smaller . This is my DR in thta house . Lighting is the things that keeps spaces from feeling dark and small.
