Shermin williams Something blue or porch ceiling blue is what I was thinking for the wall color in the bedroom and bathroom. Trying to find a french light blue for a bedroom that doesnt have much light only one window. My husbands favorite color is Azure blue.

The rest of the house is a cream/off-white livingroom color.

Not sure this is the way to go about this . What is your style ? A headboard can be added after all the things you need in the space is decided . A to scale floor plan here in a comment posted in jpeg format is a must . Wait until you are in to make big design decisions. Wall color can be anything . I use the bedding usually to decide bedroom decor , so if you post a pic of bedding you both love thenaybe we can help with the headboard . I will say no velvet for a headboard IMO. A new to you space is fun but planning is everything. In the meantime start some idea books that way we can check those to get a feel for your style.

Just be very careful with painting walls blue. Depending on the light in the room, blues can intensify and be stronger and more intense than you expected!

I agree no velvet or suede...it would always look messy with the nap they have. Our headboard is a soft tightly woven tweed,...very tailored.

I agree use discretion in the use blue in a bedroom, so find something de-saturated with gray.

Use a flat finish for bedroom walls. Use a different shade of blue in the bath...you don't want too matchy.

Paint can feel very different given room’s lighting and flooring. What is the flooring/rug/carpeting and your furniture like? I also think choosing a headboard could wait until everything else is chosen, including bedding. Be sure you have an overall plan, then choose items.

The colors that were provided are lovely and a cream headboard would better suit a French or Italian feel. Suggest warm white walls and use blue in the bedding and accessories and neutral walls will make decorating a lot easier.

I’d look for a darker headboard with a bit of texture.

So there is three windows its a small bedroom.

Right now I have a universal queen bedframe just a standard with a boxspring its black. This is my side table and lamp.
