We are designing an island suspended ceiling. It is basically a box in a box (see photo). I don't want the heaviness of 2x4 framing and have been looking at grid systems. The problem with grids is I don't want the grid exposed so I came upon Armstrong Frameall.

- how to use this system to hang the outer box? how much can it cantilever out if the suspension from ceiling is on the inside of the inner box?

- how do we get a nice finished edge on the outer box vertically? the system comes with a "T" channel...is there a different attachment?
