It's unfortunate that these stylish Milano Designer Radiators aren't available in the US, but Hudson Reed offers radiators that go beyond the old, fat, sit-on-the floor models that have been around collecting layers of paint forever.

I would choose the most stylish rad that had the highest Btu output per linear foot with the LOWEST supply water temperature for the greatest efficiency, lowest heating costs and greatest comfort.

I love my hot water heating we have basboard hot water very nice looking white covers we bought to cover the old aluminum ones , You can put furniture close and I have drapes that cover ones in the bedroom no issues . The heat is lovely it is even does not create dust I set the temp and never touch it There are beutful wall ones in Europe that almsot look like art This is a radiator

" You can put furniture close and I have drapes that cover ones in the bedroom no issues . "

Blocking radiators with drapes is of course no problem from a fire standpoint but by blocking airflow, you're inhibiting the function and reducing the heat producing capacity of the unit.

    Why are you asking?

BTW in my bedroom the heat is actually hardly ever on. I guess knowing why is a good question.

    Heat is hardly ever on....

    1) You like it cool for sleeping or

    2) Low heat loss perhaps because of beefed up insulation or limited exterior walls, or

    3) Radiator is oversized.

None of this changes what I said - blocking airflow to a radiator decreases its effectiveness in warming the space.

    Re: wdccruise

Interesting eye-candy but they’re not very forthcoming with the technical data.

Can’t unwrap it till we see all the vital stat numbers in the engineering specs data.

@wdccruise I do know all this brands but not sure if they are the right direction. We are checking more and more all home details and then decide.

    " Interesting eye-candy "

    " Can’t unwrap it "

These are technical terms appropriate to use as a comment to OP, a person with a non-English mother tongue? Or to anyone for that matter?
