Yes, but if that’s the primary place where people will use the handheld, you can plumb it closer to there too. It doesn’t need to be in the same location as the main shower head.

The bench will be there for when we need it. Designing everything with the thought of aging in place. So, for now , we’re good And won’t be needing the bench. Im aiming that if one is at the point of needing the bench- someone will be assisting in bathing. Thinking maybe we can get a longer hose for when that time comes. If that’s a thing- may purchase it with the regular size coil and put the longer one away til needed?
