If you eliminate the windows on the dining room wall, you can extend the kitchen all the way to the back wall. This may work without any uppers along that wholr wall. Including eliminating the current upper cabinets left and right of the sink. The cooktop and a hood could be located on the expanded run.

I thought about the window & was told it may be too big of a deal to cover that up. I think the kitchen needs to be extended all the way over.

Would you be OK with a range instead of a cooktop + wall oven(s)? Those ovens are taking up a lot of wall space.

Could you replace the window in the DR with one that's counter-height? That way, only part would need to be "covered up" outside.

What is the exterior of the house?

Tables are much more comfortable to sit at for meals or any longer-term activity than perching on stools. They're also a lot more flexible/functional than a permanent behemoth of an island that would overwhelm the relatively small space of the house. I would seriously reconsider the ideas of (1) getting rid of the table and (2) a large island in a small-ish space.

Large doesn't mean functional. You can get a functional kitchen in the space you have. It's not tiny.

Maybe you can explain why you didn't want a table and why you think the kitchen needs to be 25' long?
