Is there a great 90-degree door stop?

Hi, all. I am trying to find a solution that prevents a closet door from banging into a book shelf that, for many reasons, needs to remain where it is. I don't care for the hinge-type stops. I'm OK with using something that is self-adhesive on the floor, but don't want to screw anything into the floor. I am open to screwing a door stop into the baseboard, but (from what I can tell)

it would need to be angled, and the 90-degree ones I've seen are too short for the job. I don't want to attach anything to the outside of the door. Welcome any ideas. Thanks in advance!

There's nothing "great" about any door stop. You don't want to attach anything to the door or the floor or the shelf, so you're sort of out of options. Glue a floor stop to the floor and be done with it.

IMO turn the bookshelf to be on the wall beside the door and then a decnt no drill floor stop would work. Maybe an animal door stop there are tons on Etsy Really google fun door stops al of which require no real install

Add a bumper to the bottom shelf.

Thanks, Jennifer. While not pictured, there will be a handle on the door that will hit the middle of the shelf. I was hoping to avoid something that will be noticeable on the shelf at eye level as the shelf faces outward towards the door and is the first thing seen when walking in. I appreciate you taking the time to comment!

I might attach a wood block (painted to match the trim) to the bottom trim next to the door. You may need to add a small block on the door as well, but as long as it is close to floor level it should not be all that noticeable.
