I rarelt put rugs under beds to me hey make no sense unless huge since I think the whole point is to have a place to put your bare feet when getting out of bed. I much prefer nice side rugs and what ever works with the your decor .

@Maureen. I don’t think I would like the bed on the opposite wall. If I did that when you’re in bed you would be looking down a hallway. Seems odd to me. Thanks for the idea though.

I know an 8 x 10 will fit, but given the size of the room it seems a little skimpy. IDK

I don’t think it matters if it’s not centered unless the rug has a center medallion pattern. This shows a 9x12, but I wouldn’t order this size until I could tape it out on the floor. I’d probably tape out the size of the bed as well.

As stated. the rug can be offset as long as you don't select a rug with a center medallion.

An 8x10 rug seems like it might work since the rug can't go all the way under the bed. Here are a few rugs we have used in clients homes. Note how they are placed.
