And it's so nice and I was able to get all the black out that I wanted with steel wool and a little sandpaper. It was quick and easy. I've wanted one of these for years and I'm very happy with this one. Authentic or not!

So many things you can do with it!! Herbs and flowers are perfect for summer. When you say orange slices, do you mean the dried ones?

It's lovely and perfect for your table and room. When I start looking at them, it's often approaching the holidays and I'm imagining all sorts of greenery and holiday decorations in one. I have a friend who has the trencher style wooden kneading bowl her MIL brought with her from the old country and used in her rye bread process. Of course as a family heirloom it won't be coming my way nor would I expect it to - there are many hours of memories in that wooden bowl.

Summer's a little tricky but Monday night when I have friends coming over for a casual dinner I'm going to put some Rosemary and gardenias in there.

Picking up some orange slices too for later. For some reason I really like that look so they must be trending. Trendy stuff is a magnet for me.

I picked one up at an antiques store quite awhile ago, from a guy who had just come back from eastern Europe. Mine is always on the move - it currently is holding some folded textiles. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
