chairs don’t fit??

I bought these chairs on marketplace and they don’t fit. My breakfast nook table is a pedestal, the chairs are too wide to push all the way in. (Ignore the rug, I’m getting a sisal type). Is that a deal breaker?

That's how mine fit and I've never thought it to be a problem.

Thank you!!! I guess I’m comparing them to my previous ones, which pulled all the way under. I’m probably overthinking it!!! Yours is really pretty!

    I think they look nice, but I wiuld shift them from 12, 3, 6, &9 o’clock to 10, 2, 4 & 8 o’clock positions.

Why do they need to push all the way in? They look like you can sit properly at the table no big deal. I am happy you kept the art but it still needs to a bit lower and I still think a new light would be better.

I guess I just thought they needed to b more flush w table edge. I’m considering a new light, any ideas??? I am going to lower my art, just haven’t yet but that was a good suggestion!
    Thank you!!

Thank you, Renee Pearl! I meant to say that both your new chairs and your table are also very pretty!

I also like your light and, imo, see no need to replace it.

Instead of putting them in between each table leg……place them OVER each table leg and see if they go in more under the table

As recommended turn the table so the chairs are diagonal.

IMO those chairs are quite handsome with your table. They fit fine in the space but the area will look more spacious once you turn the table.

If you ever do need to push them all the way in, shift them so they slide in Over each leg instead of in between. They may fit closer that way.

Those chairs look great with your table, nice find!

    Thank you so much!!

Love the chairs and love them with the table. They like just right pushed in to the point shown in the photos.

I have that same type of pedestal on my kitchen table (maybe not quite so heavy). Consider turning the table 90 degrees so that the chairs each "straddles" a pedestal leg.

Thank you!! I did turn my table and kept the chairs in between the pedestal but somehow I like it better. Great suggestions!

They fit exactly like mine do around my table. Those are NICE chairs!

I did what Beverly suggested and the table looks better. The chairs, too.

So much better with just a tiny tweak!!Look how pretty the backs of the chairs look now, backlit by the window.
