You are going to have a very hard time finding fruit trees in 1 gal. pots. Good luck.

You can order bare root varieties in advance of the season for planting. Try a local nursery or ask your local Armstrong center if they will order bare roots for you. They will need to be planted right away. 1 gallon pots are not going to work.

Thanks, I am a specialist in orchard and edible plants. We buy them wholesale (and low chill/semi dwarf 1-gallon are most often the ONLY we use). it seems most commenting are home gardeners.

The person above telling me I'm ”going to have a hard time” made me laugh. what a useless comment, at least you were trying to be helpful, thanks. I am a UC Master Gardener. I am not planting stone fruit now. I am not looking for bare roots.

The extension service for your local state university may be able to refer you to their list of wholesale sources. Or try UC Davis. Commercial farmers in my area plant bare root trees.
