I've got a number of roses that are "officially" white-but-bloom-pink, or that are "officially" pink-but-bloom-white . . . just wait and see what it does most consistently.

How big are Odee Pink's flowers? This mystery rose has pretty small flowers, but otherwise they look pretty similar. Maybe if the flowers get more full they will look like Clotilde. I'll have to see what it looks like in the spring as well.

It'll be fun to try to figure it out.

Something about Albuquerque that surprised me , weather wise was even more so in Santa Fe. The hedges were often Lilacs. Not well tended, but lilacs none the less. Lilacs grow well where I live now as do tea roses and chinas. That may bode well for your surprise rose. If there's still a historic rose group in NOLA, you might contact them for an id. They might be interested in if they haven't seen it locally.

It looks like New Orleans Old Garden Rose Society (link) has a Facebook page. There have been no updates since April, but they may take a summer break from their meetings.
