I used AI to make one of my dream roses.

I love koko loco's color, but I wish I could find a similar rose in cabbage form, so far no luck.

Here is the rose of my dreams that has not been made. I wish I could create one in real life too. I love peach and blush roses too but they already exist.

and some more versions

What do you think?

I think that a Caffe Latte is the most close of existing roses to your dream rose.

PS. Bourbon Street is also in gamma and shape you might like.

Elena, I purchased it but I want to exchange it for something else, because in videos online it looks too similar to koko loco for me. I think the closest one I have seen so far is Luxor, a new Japanese rose that was released this year.

@Z10Socal Interesting use of AI - I have to say though that your dream rose looks a lot like a peony to me. 😊

I think maybe Miyabi Cha or Miyabi Brown look a bit like your rose.

Ben, Miyabi Brown looks very close!

Also Westminster Abbey might be close as well.

Yes, Miyabi brown is close, regretting not selecting that one as my free rose instead of Emma for my delayed shipment. I remember seeing it looking too open though. I wish it would stay cupped. Cupped roses are my favorite!

I have Westminester, I mean I will if they deliver it like they say they will in November.

I also got Ash Wednesday, years ago as a tiny cutting. So waiting to see a good bloom from it.

Would kill for little grey pearl but its NEVER in stock.

I didn't use AI to produce my dream rose. And this happened over and over again. No brown wanted. Diane

    Diane,

I think its a millennial thing 😅. We love vintage looking roses. I don't want faded brown but a nice latte brown.

Agusta Louise right? How does it look in the heat? Not big on orange and have seen some orangy but the other shades are beautiful.

KW PNW Z8, My garden would be mostly peonies if I could grow them in Socal. I just die for cupped flowers.

In the heat, Augusta and also in cooler temps. She's all over the place.

May, and I think there are a little thrips there.

    May

    June

    June, the best month.

    July

Recently and yes, a little orangish. I like all the colors of AL.

Augusta will return to pink in about two weeks. She's a pretty continuous bloomer. Diane

    Late October

Nearly November. I took 110 photos of this rose last year.

Peonies for SoCal. Sarah Bernhardt is still the best after about 124 years. Diane

I'm sorry I hijacked this thread. Just a loony old lady. Diane

    Have you looked at Aschermittwoch?

Diane, I like her int colder temperatures. I have one peony right now. First time growing it and so far nothing.

Mad, I have Ash Wednesday also known as Aschermittwoch but its a young plant so does not bloom a lot. I just got amnesia and it has similar coloring.

I had Little Grey Pearl for awhile. It was a sickly puny thing. Often leafless. I loved the blooms. Really loved the color! It just had no vigor. It would best be grafted on to Fortuniana or something to give it some major Ooomph!

    I love that second pic!

Just wait until the bad ebay sellers get to using AI to sell their fake seeds and plants and who knows what else lol...

Same here, like Sultry's, my Little Grey Pearl was a black spot and spider mite sufferer, as mini roses are here besides being sickly. The blooms were awesome, though, as scant as they were. Under more favorable conditions I suppose it can shine. That color is like no other bloom's.

Yes I remember when you got it =). Did it die on you? I'm thinking its better for non humid climate since it did so well for the California user who shared some pictures. Can you post the best pictures you took of it ?

It was very susceptible to black spot. It didnt get very big. I had it for several years. It waxed and waned..sometimes doing well..usually in late fall, winter, early spring (our drier seasons) Come summer it would get sickly, so I do think it disliked our humidity. It might have done better if I had sprayed fungicides etc but I decided long ago not to. It probably would do better in California. I remember Cori Ann had one and thats when I got mine because I loved the color. I think hers did well.

It finally croaked and I haven't replaced it. I am going to find something else that looks like it but is happier here. It was worth a shot lol.

I love the 1st and 3rd AI photo, I don't know why the 2nd AI photo scares me. It's not holes but triggers a bit of Trypophobia. I almost started waxing on about peonies but decided I should make a new thread about it, if at all.

Trypophobia, that’s a new one to me! For me the second photo just triggers that uncanny valley effect though I like the others.

Diane you can post as my peonies as you like on my post 🥰💖💖💖💖💖🙏🏽
