Considering that it's all done, are you looking for affirmation or flagellation? What will you do if the majority of opinions say you were crazy...tear it all out and redo it again or just feel bad about getting rid of the tub that you never used in over two decades?

IMO every home should have at least one bath tub.

Bathing small children and the occasional bubble bath. Whether it is a shower combo or not, for resale it just makes sense.

I would never live in a home without a tub I bathe every night . I would have left the tub in the bathroom with one even for a chance someone needs a tub for an injury . I thingk the time to ask has passed now just live and enjoy what you have.

There will be a buyer for everything. We have a rental property with only one bathroom. My husband decided to remove it to install a nice shower. The tenants love it.

This property might deter future families with small children. For a landlord, this is a plus.

We don't know what your market is. If down the road you see it was a mistake, you can either fix or lower the price.

I think it depends on the location of the house, and its size. There are lots of houses here that have only a shower, but they are relatively small houses. But if you live in this house as long as you lived in the last one, I don't think it's that important, because you aren't really concerned about short-term retail?

We have two bathtubs in our house, three bathrooms, and I think each bathtub has been used for bathing a couple of times and that's it.

The purpose of your home is to function well for your family. If it works well for your family it was not a mistake.
