Would I be correct in assuming there will be a bedroom as well? Are there windows? Exterior doors? What type of door will there be going out to the deck? A roll in shower off the deck? Is this a slab or framed floor system?

What kind of options do you have for egress in event of a fire? Do you need a big door with a ramp to ground level?

It is slab on ground floor. This area is under a house on pilings. Yes bedroom/bathroom & living area. Exterior door can go anywhere.

I'll hope it's for mom only......

Your wish list is too big for the space, unless you want it to resemble assisted living.

When you refer to "roll in shower...." you need room to move around in the space.

Maybe incorporate the deck area.

Is the fact that the house is on pilings really negate any living space being built there or am I totally wrong. I see those type homes usallly on the waterfront where flooding can happen often so sorry but no way would I want to have anyone living there .I need pics of the home from all angles to understand how this can work . You have a deck where exactly on the exterior .

You need two exterior egress doors, correct?

Not sure why two doors would be needed. Many apartments and condos have only one door. If a 2nd door is needed, one of the windows in the bedroom could be a door.
