I like the direction you are going with the black. Perhaps consider color drenching the entire room black, because the dark wall unit that doesn’t go to the ceiling visually shortens the back wall. Also consider changing the hardware on the wall unit to something more modern. What will you be using the desk for? Are you thinking a more traditional executive desk style that has a covered front? Or an adjustable desk for computer work? Here are a couple wood/metal styles that lean towards industrial.

Regarding desk chair, if you are spending long hours in it, then maybe a fully adjustable and ergonomic task chair. But if not, I like something like this:

I might consider a black track light with four or five heads. I would direct two of the lights to light up your displays on the back wall unit, one light down on the desk, and one light to light up a large piece of art on the wall opposite the windows. There are other ceiling mount fixtures that are more aesthetically pleasing but I am picky about light in an office setting and want a lot of control with what type of bulb I can put in it and adjustability of light direction.

The middle of that built-in appears to be a desk. If you want a different one, are you looking to stand it in the middle of the room or against a side wall? Do you need storage, or surface area for drafting, or a sleek look for Zoom meetings? More context will get more and better answers.

I agree wit acm you have adesk in that unit so maybe a bit more info as to the whole space and id this ahome office or a work space ? If a work space then what do you need for a desk like more than one monitor , do you do Zooms and if so do you have abackground you use or the actaul space . I deally you post a to scale floor plan on graph paper showing windows , doorways where those lead and every meausrement of every wall, Posted here in jpeg format in a comment. If not into that then at least pics to show the whole room posted here in comment. DO NOT start another post and soory but no all black office IMO. Lighting you need overall lighting and a good desk lamp for sure . Pot lights fo overall lighting would be the best a track or 2 if you have a center electrical box and want to save money.
