...Interesting dilemma. Many (most?) modern 'smart' camera w/ built in security light systems (Ring, Nest, Blink, etc...) like to be vertically mounted to exterior walls. Unlike traditional motion security lights, they do a poor job of designing their cameras and lights to fully articulate or angle from a soffit mount. However most houses around here get their exterior security light boxes mounted in the soffits - NOT the walls!

I've found precious few soffit adapters, all overpriced ($30-$50 ea), none UL listed (AFAIK) and none from major electric suppliers. Shown below: The 'Holicfun' brand adapter is designed for 'Nest ONLY'. The Esty adapter 'appears' to be a 3D printed unit - somewhat expensive at about $50 ea. No idea how strong it is and doubt it's got a UL listing.

Basically what I'm looking for is a round extension box that gives the camera / light kit a 45* or 60* or even 90* angle from a soffit mounted box. But preferably from a major supplier at a reasonable price.
