Does anyone have a combo air fryer / toaster oven they really like?

I don’t have space for two separate appliances but there seem to be a lot of combo air fryer/toaster ovens. But reviews seem to be all over the place. Any recommendations?

Everyone in my family has the new(er) Breville, but they all kept their existing air-fryers. I just have the Breville, but have never owned an air-fryer. I have used the air-fryer mode and I think it works fine, but I have nothing to compare it to. With the Breville you do have to be careful that you aren't air-frying something messy as you don't want dripping food on the heating elements.

We have a Tovala and like it, but I don’t have anything to compare it to. I picked it on the recommendation of America’s Test Kitchen. Their top pick was the June oven, which was on backorder for months.

We have other Breville appliances and my first impulse was to buy one from them, but they had many very bad reviews and ATK did not recommend them.

I have a Cuisinart one. I bought it for the same reason you gave -I don't have room for two appliances. I liked this particular model because it fits a 9x13 baking dish or a pizza stone. Unfortunately it isn't a great toasteror a great air fryer. It does work really well as an alternative to our full oven.

The Cuisinart one I have (from Costco), the display is going out on it. The numbers are all wonky, so you don't know what temp you're setting it at or how many minutes when you turn the knob, and before that happened, the numbers started jumping forwards and backwards so you you just kept turning until it hit what you wanted. Less than 3 years old if memory serves. Looking for a new one.

I have the La Sur that I believe was made for Costco. I love it! It replaced my air fryer & toaster oven when I down sized from my house with a giant kitchen to this home just for me. It has a rotisserie can do a whole chicken, a round basket for the rotisserie for fries etc. It will do kabobs also. It is very easy to keep clean & sits nicely in the corner of my counter. It also has 2 shelves for air frying.
