I’m seeking advice on what light fixtures, chairs, and buffet I should get for my dining room. As you can see from the attached photo, the room is quite dark. The existing chandelier and sconces don’t give off enough light, and I don’t love their style either. I’m hoping to brighten up the space, making it feel more naturally lit and airy, without relying solely on artificial lighting.
I’d love suggestions for:
Light fixtures that will make a bold yet elegant statement and provide more illumination.
Dining chairs that will complement the existing table (considering maybe adding upholstered or more modern chairs).
A buffet or sideboard that fits the space and adds both function and style.
I’m open to different design styles, but I’d love for the room to feel brighter, welcoming, and cohesive. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
