We have another correct guess for one of the drinks. Yes, Kim # 4 is MIAMI VICE. I don't know what's in it. Just found these when I went looking for frozen drinks. Another point for you, Kim. However, Snowflake or Snowflakes is not on the list. Does sounds like a great drink to try though.

Wow, received my card from Sharon today and it's packed full of goodies.

Squash Pie recipe (her favorite) with seeds. Now I just need to learn how to grow squash. My 6 plants of Georgia Candy Roaster has flowers but no fruit yet. I did get some luffa's and winter gourds this year. Maybe that's a start. Usually the vine borers get my vines before I get any squash. Can't wait to try the radish and marigolds. My marigolds haven't done well this year and I haven't gotten any seeds from them yet. This year we've gone to mostly tea instead of coffee so we drink a lot. I've never had any fresh dried, yum.

Our garden club had the Fall plant swap on Saturday. It was a beautiful day but not as many people as normal. I only brought home a few items. Purple Beauty Berry, some aloe plants, wandering jew, Tradescantia cuttings and an unknown plant that I later identified as Korean Perilla. Also got a few seeds.

Still no rain for us, but nights are getting pretty cool now.

I think everyone has received but I'll recheck later today. Have so much to do and I watched a Christmas movie this afternoon. Yes, bad choice - the movie was good but not much got done.

Just came in from raking leaves. I have a huge willow oak out front (and other trees) but the willow oak drops leaves like you wouldn't believe. I actually like raking leaves, but I don't like bagging them up. I leave as much as I can in the garden beds. I think it's 3 times in the fall the town comes to do "loose leaf pick up" - that's more fun, just rake them to the curb.

I'll be happy to set up a new heading for November if needed. I don't know about others, but with lots of posts sometimes it's hard to see all of them (or to notice you aren't seeing all of them).

Prizes for October may need to go out next week. I have them - just a matter of getting them packed up and to the post office. This week has gotten quite busy and adding to it, I had a crown come off my tooth this evening. Hopefully it's just a matter of putting it back on, but I have no idea. It was put on many years ago.

Annie, I'm going to try to start moving the first week of December. I have to line up a mover so hopefully that works out. It will not be a "full move" at that time. I'll be back and forth for awhile. I didn't do much downsizing last time but this time is way different and much more stressful even though it's just a few miles away and not into another state like last time.

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone gets a special treat for Halloween. My treat was the dentist could re-glue my crown that came off so I was in and out in a hurry today and that sure was a nice surprise.

A follow up here, I heard from Shirley and she is okay. So thankful to know that. However, she is having computer problems so there won;t be a hostess for November.
