One or two side tables for this small guest room?

This is my small guest room with a full size storage platform bed. I need help with choosing side table/s for a modern traditional design style.
Please share any style you think would work. I also added a photo of the fabric of the bed.

I have 33” of space on each side of the bed and 36” between the foot of the bed and wall.

Should I do only one side table between the bed and closet, off setting bed closer to window?

Place a small table on each side?

My plan is to also anchor the bed with a rug, what size would be best?

I also plan to place a small chair in the one corner.

Any ideas as what to do with the blank wall facing the foot of the bed?

Both of us wear glasses and like to keep our cellphones near us at night. Two nightstands are important to us. I don’t want to put my glasses on the floor.

Why don't you find two shelves perhaps with Victorian carvings to be traditional and hang them on the wall on each side of the bed to hold guests items in a modern way?

Rho Dodendrons's shelf idea is great--doesn't need to be Victorian. Add a sconce above each shelf as well. I would put a nice piece of art on the opposite wall.

I’d do just one side table, but I’d probably use it on the window side, doors that look like they might hit furniture make me nervous .

2 night table/ wall shelves what ever pendant lights or sconces to keep those side table small and I would probably do by pass doors on the closet to make those night tables possible if too tight to open the claset doors. IMO a tiny space needs reall nice decor and I always love drapes in a bedroom and a bit of glam . No rug but maybe a nice small runner on either side of the bed So nice bedding , I do not see space for a chair but I put a luggage stand in my guest closet since often guests really just live out of the suitcase for most things. Tiny guest rooms are like powder rooms you can go a bit over the top . This is nice look if simple is more your style

Two nightstands with two lamps. Nothing over the bed if you are in earthquake country.

If you put lamps on small nightstands, there will be no room for anything else! Use wall-mounted (and preferably swing-arm) lamps as in Patricia Colwell’s photo. Many styles available.

I love the sconce and double wall shelves idea. I do have a depth of 13” to work with and a stopper at 90° on the closet door to prevent hitting the shelf/table.

I also love having the idea of a luggage stand, which if I can clear out my closet I could put up there.

I’d also like a rug in the room, but not sure on size, 6x8 or 6x9?

How many people do you expect to sleep in the bed at same time? Full size is very tight for two full size adults. I’m grateful that my husband and I just had the opportunity to do that while evacuating from hurricane, but it was tight. Rather a queen and one small bedside table.

If I’m a short term guest, I don’t need a nightstand with drawers. Small table, like a C table will do.

Given you have a double-door closet there, I'd consider possibly doing the one nightstand by the window for now, and getting a couple of these to hang off the bedside:

If you really need to do two, I'd suggest something like this for your nightstands, and perhaps do wall lights to limit clutter on the tables:
