Secret Santa Seed Swap 2024/Sign up/Wishlists

last modified: 5 months ago

Hi everyone ! I am posting early this year to give everyone more time to post wishlists and get cards and seeds ready.

Please use this post to sign up by posting your wishlist. ( I will post another Secret Santa thread for thanking everyone later this month) If you belong to any garden groups please invite them to sign up, the more the merrier !

DEADLINES:

Sign up by Nov 30

I'll send the address list by Dec 1

Please send your cards out any time after getting the address list.

Guidelines:

1. Please be kind, I still work full time Monday - Friday but I will respond to any questions as soon as possible.

2. Sign up by posting your wishlist. Keep it as generic ( red slicing tomatoes) or specific (Cherokee Purple tomatoes) as you'd like. Asking for specific varieties may mean you get exactly what you want, but more general requests may be easier to fulfill.

After posting your wishlist, send me an email ( popandiris @ gmail.com ) with the following information:

Name

Address

City, State Zip Code

Screen Name

3. Once everyone signs up, I'll send out the master list of addresses on Dec 1. Check your address if it's correct. Please email me as soon as possible if its not of if you are not on the list and should be.

4. Mail out your cards anytime after receiving the address list.

5. Please be sure to use the Thank you thread to say thank you for the seeds and cards you receive.

Enjoy the swap and i hope everyone has a safe, healthy and very Merry Christmas !

For those who have been doing this for a while and for the new ones participating this year. I would like to say, if you can, start now by gettting your seeds ready and put inside your envelope with some type of cushion like padding from the amazon packages for instance then when we get the list of addresses, all we have to do is write the addresses on the envelope (s). From past experience, I would wait until the list of names/addresses are ready then sure enough, December is so busy that I am rushing to package to send out. If anyone else here has suggestions, I would love to hear/read it :)

I’ve received goodies from Santa Renea & Santa Coleen…thank you both for sharing🥰My cards are on the way, I would love to hear they‘ve arrived safely...Santa Heidi: my 12/6 informed delivery showed an envelope from you, but it has not yet arrived.

    Merry Christmas to All!

Very strange. I get that informed delivery too but I’ve never been missing anything yet. I’m not sure what to do?

I’m sure it’s just to do with the increased volume of holiday mail, another piece from the same day has been in transit for 4 weeks. Unfortunately, my informed delivery is not typically very accurate.

I have been receiving cards and will be posting my thank you hopefully tomorrow as I open them. Lots of running around going on, Dr appts, cats appts, and still trying to get my back yard together after the tropical storm and the back to back hurricanes. Just wanted to let you all know I am not ignoring anyone!
