^^^^ everything millworkman said is spot on. Gutters match fascia and soffit because they are trim. Downspouts match the surface they are on.

Thank you! Interesting you both say go more brown - I was looking at the dark grays and pewter vs brown.

Brownish brick, beige windows and trim lead towards a brown roof, defiitely not gray/black. Don't believe us, layout a bundle of those as well and you will see.

For the roof - GAF Timberline Weathered wood is a great color. Up close in your hands it does look very different than once it’s on the roof. It has good variation as well so it’s less monolithic (which I like) In my experience it darkens with age but maintains a ‘weathered wood’ appearance.

It is dark but doesn’t change the gutter answer- they match the surface they are on. Personally , I prefer a black roof but that’s just me and weathered wood is nice too (though I find it busy). If you are repainting trim I would use a white with less yellow in it but not stark white.
