Furniture and Tv layout for our living and dining space

Pls suggest some ways to arrange furniture in this space. This corner fireplace is making me really confused about the placement of tv. Also what kind of sofa we should buy? Sectionals? 3 seater? Accent chairs? Consider all the furniture removed as we will be buying new ones.
Also looking for recommendations about shutters/blinds

This is a really cool room with lots of character! Do you want to keep the style a bit more midcentury modern to fit the vibe of the fireplace, or do you have a different style? If you have any inspo pics you love, it will help to post those!

Depending on the size of the room and TV placement, a sectional could be great to allow it to flatter and face multiple feature points. If you'd like to send me a direct message with the room measurements, I'd be happy to do a quick layout for you!

Darw a floor plan with measurements. Post it as a comment. What is behind the sofa in the picture? Do you want a dining in the room?

Thank you for offering help. I am open for suggestions regarding designing styles.

Behind the sofa is the-main entrance with a short wall. I have few measurements of the room, let me share those with you.

I like contemporary and modern look. Beige/creams/earthy tones are my fav.

@Dee P Here is a quick mock up of a more modern/mid century take on your room. I felt like the space could really use some earthy color and brought in some green, but of course you could keep it more neutral if need be with a medium tan, rust, or copper tone. I love the play of earthy greens and the walnut type wood tones.

With the corner fireplace, I would suggest utilizing art that works together; both with the room as a whole and each other. This helps unify that feature. You will probably need a smallish media stand for your TV if you do a sectional. I also kept the sectional small, measuring 101" x 101".

I'd be happy to do some changes if this isn't your vision, and I can also provide info on any of the items I recommended. They are all Ethan Allen products and very high quality.

How about a console like this and cream color sectional?

Happy they could help! This space is light and bright, and you could certainly go neutral. I love the TV stand! The trick with a cream sectional is to make sure you layer some textures and different shades of neutrals. For example, a neutral rug but with an interesting design/pattern, a few neutral pillows in cream, tan, brown layered in, wood tones for the coffee table to warm up the space, etc.

Would you like me to edit the mockup with the cream sectional to give you some ideas?

Yes pls! If you could share a pic with cream sectional.

Hello again! Here is a quick example of a light cream option, different artwork, but everything else is kind of the same look as before.

How many people use the room daily and how many guests do you want to accommodate?

We are missing a measurement, actually a couple. The kitchen wall adjacent to the corner fireplace, measurement, and the double door opening into the hallway. If possible, could you give us those measurements?

We are suggesting curtains instead of shutters, just easier to deal with, clean and have furniture in front of.

No need for additional measurements. We worked it out. We are in the process of arranging the furniture with suggestions for your consideration. With the holidays close at hand we know that people get busy. So please let us know if you are still with us and would like to see the suggestions we have for you. Thank you very much.
