If you have small childen you wil have their stuff everywhere! In a few short years they will migrate to their own rooms with their stuff. In the meantime, that is the way it will be. Most kids have sooooo much stuff! You can try to addrss and control the amount of stuff that they have. I find that too much stuff and nothing gets appreciated and 500 pieces of something get scattered and you ever wonder what is holding up the couch?

This was not so with my own kids, but is certainly true with my grand kids. They have too much stuff..I really dont know how you wil co ordinate around a Squishmallow and plastic kitchen. Just wait for this all to pass.

I highly advise putting some things away and rotate them out once in a while.

I think you have too many toys as Jehanne says. It sounds weird but kids play better with LESS options - something about they get overwhelmed?

It’s hard to tell without floor plan/measurements, but I would try to put the pack n play (or baby fenced area in the corner between couch and tv where the plant is. Could you even flip the couch to face the TV directly? That might give you an area easier to partition (I presume you want baby to stay confined in one area).
