Estimated cost for Fabricut or RM Coco drapes

I'm exploring my options for draperies - comparing finding fabric and a local workroom, vs using a custom quick ship program. Has anyone ordered from Fabricut or RMCOCO? Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of what Fabricut or RMCOCO drapes would cost per pair?

Pinch pleat, neutral linen, with a decorative tape, single panels, 108" long

Thanks!

I don't know but can bet that it would vary on what part of the country you are in. Where do you live? Have you priced out the decorative tape costs and the price per yard of the fabric yet?

I'm looking at fabric and found something that might work for $50/yd. I'm in GA, a bit south of Atlanta. There's a great fabric and fringe shop in Marietta with pretty tape and good prices. I need to daytrip up there to see what they have. I found a work room through a designer friend who gave me a good price for the labor. Just doing my research!

IMO drapes should be at least 2.5 times the width of the rod not just one panel on each side of a window I always think that just looks cheap so how many panels at 108" long They sould very formal can we see your space ? Post the pics here in a comment Do NOT start another post

To determine yardage, decorator fabric is usually 54” wide wide. A single panell will require 3.33 yards (108 + 12 inches for header and hem). As mentioned, without knowing the width of your window, it’s impossible to guess how many panels you will require. Lining has to be purchased also.

Thanks for the responses. I get how drapes work... I've had them made and even made my own. Specifically I am only interested in anyone who has experience with ordering from Fabricut or RMCOCO.

Fabricut doesn't actually fabricate drapery. They farm out the labor to a large workshop that lots of major fabric houses & interior designers use to keep costs down. I'm sure the quality is great,........provided you place a precise order for what you expect.

I used this workroom, but I'm not sure they will work with the public.

If you are not using Fabricut Fabric, there's no reason to use them.

Half Price Drapes can also provide you with semi custom drapery panels, likely at a better price.

The Shade Shop is also a good source for custom work for the public.

Thanks @BeverlyFLADeziner! That's helpful. I have 2 local design shops that sell Fabricut, and was considering ordering through them. I just wanted an idea of that cost before I got tangled up with them since I know both shop owners. I've already contacted a local workroom and was given a reasonable price to have drapes made. So I was curious about how Fabricut's price stacked up to that. I'll take a look at Half Price Drapes.

Anderson has very reasonable labor costs for designers, but their prices will have an upcharge by Fabricut, and your local design shop will upcharge on that amount. IMO that's too many middlemen.
