Shallow drawers to not a music cabinet make. I feel like this is just a jewelry cabinet of some kind. But the shape of the top of it is reminiscent of the tops for early victrolas and such. Perhaps the guts of the original record player were removed from the pink area and it was tarted up to become . . . whatever it is now.

Maybe the side wings are for record albums?

It's a strange piece with Queen Anne feet, Federal-ish style body, and a "chinoiserie"sort of top, and then those random whatnot type bracketed shelves. And the strange division of glass in the door. And the interior shelves seem a little Thick for the piece: look at the shelves on the sides, thinner and ogeed on the edges. The pulls should be bat wing to go with the legs, but they look right with the drawers. I think they are called swan neck.

I wonder if this was a one off that was made by a skilled amateur furniture maker, for their specific needs .

The top of it does look like the top of old record players. Here is the label, looks like it is on the inside top of the door.
