Feeding station

There’s a lot of white space around my cats’ feeder and foundation. There’s a shoe cabinet to the left and a tv stand to the right. I’m just not sure what to fill this space with?

Waht room is this in ? IMO the cat needs on bowl and the water fountain so what are the other pices for? I like a nice mat for pet feed to keep food and slobber on the mat and honestly do not like it in a really open visible space usually. Love the pic lisedv posted a perfect idea. Post a pic of that whole space for us to even guess how to help.

Can you take a pic from further back?

Yes, get a cute pet mat.

I don't understand needing to fill in all the spaces with all the things.

Thanhs for the feedback! It’s the entryway to the left and the living room to the right - small condo lol

I would still leave the wall empty. It's only a few feet b/t the mirror and the TV and this gives you negative space, which is good.

    A narrow tall-ish plant?

But,... cat will want to climb it.

I might try to “ contain” all the cat feeders on one mat/ boot tray, if you can find just the right dimensions that don’t take up more space than mentioned. I’ve had good success searching for things BY dimensions—.

as a fellow cat lover i thought you might appreciate learning that that cats, being hunters, like fresh food (including fresh kibble) and water, so a feeding station is not the best for them. You will surely get some great decor advice here as well.

They actually blend into your wall pretty well, which is good, especially in a small condo. No need to highlight this practical element of your home. Don't over think it. Leave it as is. Negative space it good in any home, but great in a small home.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I’ll leave the space as is and get a bigger mat. The auto feeder is mostly for when we’re away or get home later than their dinner time :)

I will say that cats in homes need to adjust to a much different life than in the wild . A can of foodor kibble for me the choice is kibble I hate the smell of cat or dog food in a can . Good quality food is amust and IMO coming out of a dispenser is great since they tend to eat what they need the water dispensers are also great to give nice clean water . I have had cats many times and all stayed very healthy and happy with a good kibble our last 2 lived to 22 yrs old . They di not go outside loose but we did have a really cool sort of catio thing with toys all sorts of places to climb and spent many hours out there wth no risk of traffic I did however have the feed in the kitchen and the litter box acceessed through a cat door to the laundry room
