Home Decorating Design Dilemma

trying to decide which window treatment will look best.

I've narrowed down to two options for my patio door. Option 1 would be to have a roller shade to match the other window treatments. It would habe to be an outside mount and I would have the cassette placed just above the trim at the top of the door.
Option 2 would be to have drapes with the rod placed at the same height as the trim to the other windows. I like the idea of all window treatments matching, but do not like that the door is lower than the windows. I am considering a drape so I can have all at the same height. Which option would look better? | appreciate any comments/ suggestion!

You don't have room for stacking drapes. I would do the shades, but there's no reason why you can't hang them the same height as the window which is perpendicular and have them slightly closed to hide the door header. Make sure they're made such that they will look finished from the sides when mounted outside the door frame.
